Directions to Honokohau:
Turn onto Kealakehe Pwky and into the Harbor. Drive straight, keeping the American flag on your left hand side. As you approach a bend in the road, you’ll see a small structure with sunflowers painted on it. Continue on and pass through the first set of yellow gates followed by two speed bumps. After the last set of bumps, bear right to pass through the second yellow gate and enter the gravel parking lot. You will see a Hawaiian Nautical Sign above the dock space and a Hawaii Nautical Check-In sign under the tree with an arrow pointed to our slip. To find the closest spot, park along the right side of the parking lot near the Check-In sign.
Vessels depart from Anaehoomalu Bay at the Waikoloa Beach Resort. If driving, set your GPS to “69-1081 Kuualii Place Waikoloa, Hawaii 96738”. This will take you toward the A-Bay beach and the Lava Lava Beach Club. Park at the A-Bay Beach Park parking lot. Head toward the beach, once you reach the sand, take a right and walk along the beach. About halfway down the beach, you will see a white sign “Hawaii Nautical Check In Here”. Wait at the sign for the blue tender boat to come ashore.
When boarding at A-Bay, it is a beach-loading process with transfer from a tender-boat, with barefoot entry that takes a few steps near shore from the beach. Come in casual clothing that may come in contact with water.
CHECKING IN: Gather ashore near the white sign that says “Hawaii Nautical Check in here”. We will come to get you there in our blue catamaran tender.

Take a left at Gate 12 heading south through open gates towards bathrooms and ramp at Kawaihae South Harbor Basin. The boat, Kohola will be just pass the bathrooms or marina parking lot overlooking boats down the ramp.
